Its that time of year to Lose Weight before Thanksgiving. There is a little more that two weeks before Thanksgiving and you can lose weight to look great for the Holiday. I have a few tips to help you get started on your way to looking and feeling great for Thanksgiving.
First you need to want to lose weight, and I mean really want it. If you have the right frame of mind to lose weight you will. I have done many diets with failure because I guess I didn’t really want to lose weight at that time I wanted to eat. I’m sure I’m not alone on this. So my first tip is to want to lose weight if you give yourself just two weeks on a diet you will lose weight and there is a prize at the end of the two weeks, Thanksgiving dinner. What a great reward for two weeks of work. I’m not say starve your self, just find a diet plan that works with you and the foods you like. There are many different ones out there. If you can stay on a diet for two weeks you will lose weight and will chose your foods differently at Thanksgiving. What I mean by this is that if you have lost 5lbs in the next 2 weeks you will feel so good about yourself and your accomplishment that you may chose to have a piece of pie, but I bet it The piece of pie will be a lot smaller than if you didn’t lose those 5lbs.
You have started your weight loss program and you have 2 weeks til Thanksgiving, so here are a few ideas on how to stay on your program.
Have some of your food already made, it is so easy to open your refrigerator and grab something and warm it up than having to prepare it. This helps in the temptation of grabbing the chip bag for something to eat.
I know you hear this one all the time, but drink water it really does help you lose weight. If you don’t like just plain water put something in it like lemon, cucumber or mint. It will help with the taste.
Exercise, just get up and do more than you do now. You don’t have to go walk 5 miles or buy a exercise DVD just walk to the corner or the end of the driveway.
