"Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." – Albert Einstein
Who is the bad wolf?
What are your worst eating habits?
Let's find your bad black wolf.
What are your eating habits?
Do you skip breakfast?
Do you have a healthy snack between meals like a fruit, raw vegetable or a plain natural yogurt?
Do you drink enough water between meals?
Our eating habits are not always helping our weight management.
Most our eating habits, like most of our habits, are deeply rooted in our childhood. There are the results of our past education and our past experiences.
It could be a good time to review them.
See which are helpful and which are not.
Dismiss or change those that could damage your weight management progress. It may help leave the unneeded weight behind.
How much or how little do you eat?
How many meals do you eat a day?
Do you snack all day long?
Are you starving your body all day long and wait all day to have only one big meal in the evening?
Maybe instead of a cookie you could eat an apple or a fresh raw carrot?
You could eat 3 meals a day and have a healthy snack between meals.
Better eat more meals but smaller meals.
You will feel more energy because your body won't have to digest too much at once. You won't feel hungry or starved at the end of the day.
Do you take the time to eat breakfast everyday?
Breakfast is our most important meal, it does break the fast.
A light nutritious breakfast is the best way to start your day.
A good way to start the day is first to drink a class of natural mineral water blended with half a lemon juice. A glass of plain mineral water is fine as well.
Then eat a fruit: an apple, a pear, an orange, whatever you fancy.
It is a very light and refreshing way to start your day.
It will benefit your digestion and elimination.
Then maybe you could have a 20 minutes workout before breakfast.
What a great way to start our day.
Then have a healthy nutritious breakfast, a breakfast that will benefit you for a few hours. It will sustain you till lunch; you won't feel it and it will already be lunch time.
It does not have to be a big breakfast, but a nutritious breakfast.
My favorite breakfast when strawberries or raspberries are available:
- ½ to 1 cup plain natural yogurt, 3 to 5% fat.
- 2 tablespoons freshly grounded flax seeds. You can grind flax seeds in a coffee grinder every morning. Better buy the seeds and grind it yourself, it will stay fresher longer.
- Cut your favorite fruits in small pieces or slices.
- Mix everything together and enjoy your breakfast.
What a meal, what a breakfast.
Buy organic products whenever available, they are healthier and more nutritious; they are richer in nutrients.
